This is a song I wrote around 2015, but it has especially held true for the past few years. It is a piece about learning things that you never thought would come from people that you know and love - and trying to dig deeper to understand them as fellow human beings. This is about navigating truth and learning to disconnect. Something that we can all do more of these days.
